Plant-derived surfactants, mineral chelators and food-grade acids. One synthesised exception, an EPA-registered peroxide disinfectant, named on the products page rather than hidden in a phrase like "our proprietary blend".
Change the palette, the type and the name. Everything on the page follows, and the address bar keeps your version so you can send it to somebody.

Portland house cleaning
Plant-based products, fragrance-free by default, and every ingredient published before you are asked to trust us.

How it holds up
Most eco-cleaning claims stop at the bottle. The bottle is the easy part. What actually changes the air in a house is the cloth discipline and the machine, and those are the two things nobody photographs for a website.

Colour-coded microfibre with a rule nobody bends: red for toilets, yellow for bathroom surfaces, green for kitchens, blue for living areas. Cloths do not travel between rooms.
4cloth colours, never crossed
Sealed-system vacuums with true HEPA media, filters replaced on a schedule. An unsealed body lets fine dust bypass the filter entirely, which is the part most companies do not mention.

Every room has its own products, its own cloth colour and its own order of work. This is the short version. The long one names every surface.

Three cleaning services and one standing rule about sensitivities. Everything is quoted after a walkthrough, because a square-footage calculator has never once seen your kitchen.
Plain language
There is no federal definition of non-toxic for cleaning products and no agency certifies it. The FTC Green Guides ask for scientific evidence that a product is safe for both people and the environment before that claim is made, and very little on any shelf clears it. We use the phrase because it is what people search for, then we show our work.
We can reduce settled dust and the allergen load it carries, with damp dusting and sealed HEPA vacuums. We cannot control shoes, an open window in June, or a duct system we do not service. Anyone promising an allergen-free home is selling you a feeling.
Essential oils are volatile organic compounds. Terpenes such as d-limonene react with indoor ozone to form formaldehyde and ultrafine particles, and tea tree and lavender are recognised skin sensitisers. Dose matters more than origin, which is why scent is opt-in.
These are written notes, quoted with permission. The waveform beside each one is decorative; there is no recording to play, and the control below each card says so.

My son has asthma. I stopped dreading the day after a clean.
My son has asthma and every cleaner we tried before left the house smelling of something. Even the ones that said natural. Verdant asked about it in the first ten minutes, put the fragrance-free products in writing, and I stopped dreading the day after a clean. They also told me which of my own products to throw out, which no company had ever bothered to do.

They told me not to book the thing I was trying to pay for.
I called about mould in the bathroom and asked for a deep clean. They came out, looked at it, and told me the patch behind the tub was bigger than they should touch and that I needed a remediation contractor first. Then they gave me two names. They talked themselves out of a job on the first call, which is exactly why they have had my recurring booking for six years.

The floors in this house are 1912 fir. They noticed before I said anything.
The floors in this house are 1912 fir and the finish in the hallway is nearly gone. The first team through noticed before I said anything, tested a corner, and told me they would vacuum that stretch and skip the mop. Small thing. It is also the thing that tells you whether someone knows what they are doing.

Two dogs, a toddler and a house that finally smells like nothing.
Two dogs, a toddler, and a house that used to smell like whatever the last cleaner had sprayed. Now it smells like nothing, which turns out to be what I wanted the whole time. They use the enzyme treatment on the spot by the back door and they have never once suggested I buy something extra I did not need.

They send the ingredient list before they send the invoice.
They send the ingredient list before they send the invoice, and the list has real chemical names on it rather than the word botanical repeated eight times. When I asked what the disinfectant was, I got a product name, a concentration and an EPA registration number in the same afternoon.
Product chemistry, Portland houses, and the occasional correction.
We look at your surfaces, your floors, your pets and anything anyone in the house reacts to. Then you get a written plan and a fixed price before anything is booked.
